Berlin shows are international and media-heavy: press, partners and politicians visit the stand, panels and keynotes run on the stages in hub27 and the CityCube. We photograph your stand, record talks with two cameras and deliver photos and video within 24 hours.

In the south of the Berlin fairground there are two locations where many trade fair appearances reach beyond the stand: hub27, according to Messe Berlin a column-free congress and event hall with a roof terrace, and the CityCube Berlin, opened in 2014. The quickest way to both is the Messe Süd S-Bahn station, served by the S3 and S9. If your management sits on a panel there while your stand is in one of the northern halls, we build the walk between the two into the day as a fixed block, so we are in front of the stage on time.
For the recording we agree in advance with you and the stage crew where we may set up cameras and whether we can take sound directly from the mixing desk. We record with two cameras, one on the speaker and one on stage and audience, and photograph portraits at the lectern and reactions in the room at the same time. From a panel we cut short clips with the strongest statements the same day, landscape for the website and vertical for LinkedIn. The full recording is delivered with the photos within 24 hours, with subtitles in English, German, Arabic or Farsi on request.
On the stand, too, Berlin is a place for meetings with press, partners and politicians. Panels or presentations on your own stand (booth) can be streamed live on request once we have checked sound, internet connection and rights, and we record in parallel. Events in the Palais Berlin, with its large hall from the 1930s, follow the same planning: camera positions, sound, light and time windows are fixed before the programme starts.
For a stage recording to work, we need a few details in advance: room or stage, programme time, the speakers' names, a contact in the stage crew and whether the organiser records the session itself. With that we set camera positions and the sound path and plan how we get from the stand to the stage and back. If the talk falls into peak visitor time, we shoot the stand before and after, so the coverage has no gap.
The Berlin ExpoCenter City fairground sits in the west of the city at the Funkturm radio tower and, according to Messe Berlin, has 27 exhibition halls with around 190,000 m² of hall and event space. The hall number reveals the level: Hall 2.2 is above Hall 2.1, Hall 5 runs from 5.1 to 5.3, and Hall 7 adds letters, from 7.1a to 7.1c. Then there are the Small and Large Star halls and Halls 12 to 26. That is why we always need hall, level and stand number, because between two levels there are stairs, lifts and walks that cost time with camera cases.
For the north, with the Messe Nord entrance in front of Hall 19, take the U2 to Kaiserdamm or Theodor-Heuss-Platz, or the S41, S42 and S46 to Messe Nord/ZOB. According to Messe Berlin the grounds are directly connected to BER airport by public transport and motorway, which keeps the way from the plane to the stand short for teams from abroad. Drivers should know about the changed routing at the Funkturm interchange: because the Ringbahn bridge on the A100 is closed, the venue has recommended exits other than Messedamm since March 2025, depending on direction.
We travel from Essen the evening before and are on your stand before the doors open. Travel is quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week. During the show our crew needs exhibitor passes or tickets, so please plan two or three. On multi-day bookings we use the second morning for details missing from day one. For a team photo outside the hall, the Sommergarten with a view of the Funkturm works well, provided your show opens it and the weather plays along. A group shot with the tower behind you tells LinkedIn at a glance that you were in Berlin.
Unlike in Hannover, a commercial shoot on your stand in Berlin needs permission. The Messe Berlin house rules prohibit photo, film, video and audio recordings for commercial purposes, especially of stands and exhibits, without the prior written permission of Messe Berlin. Messe Berlin also makes its own recordings, or has them made, for reporting, advertising and documentation. So check early in your exhibitor documents how permission is requested; we provide names, days and scope. We do not deliberately shoot neighbouring stands, and recognisable visitors only with consent.
October 2026 brings Bar Convent Berlin, belektro and the Smart Country Convention, the end of November BOOT & FUN. 2027 opens in February with FRUIT LOGISTICA and E-COMMERCE BERLIN EXPO, followed by ITB Berlin in March, CWIEME in April, and IFA and CMS Berlin in September. InnoTrans took place in September 2026 and returns every two years.
At ITB tourism suppliers from all over the world meet, the stands are colourful and busy, and partner meetings need documenting. At IFA screens and light shows glow, so we expose to keep displays from blowing out. At FRUIT LOGISTICA fresh produce is the subject, at InnoTrans rail vehicles need space and wide lenses. CWIEME and CMS Berlin are trade shows with machines, components and many conversations, so the exchange on the stand is the main subject. At shows with consumer days such as IFA or BOOT & FUN we put the stand shots in the first hours, before the big crowds arrive.
Many exhibitors at ITB, FRUIT LOGISTICA and IFA travel from abroad. We run interviews in English, German, Arabic or Farsi, and companies outside the EU are invoiced without German VAT. More on halls and stations is on our Messe Berlin venue page.
