For exhibitors arriving by plane, Frankfurt is one of the most convenient trade fair cities in Germany. According to the venue, the airport is around 15 minutes away by car or taxi. By rail, S-Bahn lines S3, S4, S5 and S6 stop at Frankfurt (Main) Messe station, the U4 stops at Festhalle/Messe one stop after the Hauptbahnhof, and trams 16 and 17 serve the same stop. From the Hauptbahnhof it is about ten minutes on foot. Drivers park at the Rebstock car park and take the shuttle when it runs.
In Frankfurt we work for exactly these teams: sales and management from China, the Gulf, Turkey, Italy, Spain, the UK or the US who need a local crew without a language barrier. The briefing runs in English, interviews in English, German, Arabic or Farsi, with subtitles on request. Companies outside the EU are invoiced without German VAT; EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice. You pay by invoice or online by credit card.
Our crew travels from Essen the evening before so that we are on your stand (booth) before the doors open. Travel is quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week. Edited photos and video arrive within 24 hours after the show day ends, the first images usually the same evening. If your team leaves for the airport on the last afternoon, the material from day one has long been delivered, and you can post while the show is still running.
According to Messe Frankfurt, around 400,000 m² of event space is spread over ten halls numbered 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, plus the Festhalle, the Congress Center, the Forum and Kap Europa. For our planning the level often matters more than the hall number. Hall 9 is the largest single hall at around 56,200 m² on four levels, Hall 10 also has four floors, Hall 4 three and Hall 5, opened in 2023, two. A stand on the lowest level and a meeting on the top level of the same hall are further apart than the shared number suggests.
The Via Mobile moving walkway links the halls, including Hall 10 with Hall 11 and the Galleria. Hall 1 connects directly to the Festhalle, the Forum and Hall 3, and Hall 12 has its own access to the Portalhaus and Torhaus entrances. That is how the day plan comes together: we enter through the entrance closest to your hall, whether Torhaus, City with the Festhalle, Portalhaus, Galleria or Congress Center. We shoot the empty stand before opening, and appointments elsewhere, such as a stage or a partner stand, get fixed time windows. We do not cross the grounds several times, and the booked hours go into images rather than walking.
The domed Festhalle serves as exhibition or event space at some shows and makes for strong stage images. Inside the halls we check the light at your stand first and bring our own light for interviews and product details.
A show day in Frankfurt usually runs in this order for us. Before opening we shoot stand overviews from several angles, product details and the team photo while the aisles are empty. With the first visitors we switch to conversations and demos, working so that your meetings are not interrupted. Interviews go into quieter phases, often around midday, in a corner of your stand with a lavalier microphone and our own light. While we keep shooting, our editors cut the 30-second highlight video and the vertical clips, so a first selection is ready in the evening.
The Messe Frankfurt house rules (June 2025) require recordings to respect personality, trademark and design rights as well as the house rights of the venue, the organiser and the exhibitors. Posted photo bans, especially on stands, apply, and organisers may add their own rules. At design and consumer goods shows this matters in practice: we frame aisle views so that other companies' products and stands with a photo ban stay out of the picture, and we read your show's exhibitor manual in advance. 2027 opens with Heimtextil in January, and at the end of the month Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld run in parallel. Here a product sells through material and staging: calm stand architecture, still lifes, fabric textures, glazes and colour worlds that later work in catalogues and online shops. If you exhibit with several brands in different halls, you get one day plan with fixed time windows per hall and one consistent image package, split by brand.
At ISH in March 2027 exhibitors show bathroom and building technology, often with live demonstrations whose times we agree in advance. Formnext in November 2026 and ACHEMA in June 2027 are technical shows with machines, plants and processes. There we frame technology so that buyers without an engineering background can see what the plant does.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse in October 2026 works differently: readings, signings and conversations at the publisher's stand follow each other in short time windows, and we switch between stage and stand. November 2026 brings Fi Europe and Franchise Expo Germany, 2027 brings IMEX in May, EUROBIKE at the start of July and CPhI Worldwide in November. Automechanika returns in September 2028.
Because travel from Essen is incurred anyway, the Full Day package often pays off in Frankfurt: stand, team, conversations and interviews in one day, plus a 90-second show film. If you book only two hours, place the block around opening time: clean stand images and the first wave of visitors in one slot. For the big show weeks we suggest asking four to six weeks ahead.
