About 40 minutes from Essen, we cover exhibitors and organisers at the Westfalenhallen — from consumer fairs through trade formats to concerts, congresses and corporate events in the main arena.
The Westfalenhallen combine two worlds on one site: an exhibition ground with eight halls, and the Westfalenhalle itself as one of Germany's best-known event arenas. For a photographer that means very different demands — a trade fair needs clean product rendering, a congress needs stage lighting and fast reactions, a concert needs both at once.
Well-known formats at the venue include Jagd & Hund as Europe's largest hunting fair, Creativa for crafts and creative making, Intermodellbau, Hund & Katze, and a wide range of trade and regional exhibitions — plus congresses in the convention centre and corporate events of every size.
For formats with a stage programme we work with two to four cameras and take audio directly from the sound desk rather than relying on camera mics. That is the only route to a recording you can actually publish afterwards.
For award ceremonies and congresses we deliver, in addition to the full recording, a separate cut per speaker — so each presenter can share their own contribution, which in our experience produces by far the most organic reach.
From our Essen office Dortmund is roughly 40 minutes away, and travel is included in all NRW packages. For early slots before the doors open we build in extra buffer.
