Messe Stuttgart sits right next to the airport — a three-minute walk from the terminal, with its own S-Bahn station (Flughafen/Messe). Around 120,000 m² of hall space is spread over ten halls, including a high hall of 25,000 m², plus 40,000 m² of outdoor area and the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart. CMT, R+T, LogiMAT, Motek, Control, VISION, Blechexpo, interbad and eltefa are held here.
The grounds are easier to read than Munich or Düsseldorf and the distances are short. That helps when your brand appears in several places — on partner stands at Motek and the parallel Bondexpo, for instance. We agree in advance which areas to cover and in which order.
A large part of our client base comes to Stuttgart for a single week from the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, the Gulf, Pakistan and China. Everything on our side runs in English — the quote, the briefing, the direction on the day and the delivery.
You do not need to arrange anything locally. We arrive with our own cameras, lenses and lighting, meet you at the stand, and agree the shot list in about ten minutes. We work around your meeting schedule rather than the other way round. The exhibition centre is a three-minute walk from Stuttgart Airport, so you can go straight from arrivals to your stand.
Invoicing is handled by a German GmbH with a VAT identification number, so for EU-registered businesses the reverse-charge procedure applies and no German VAT is added. Our own travel and any overnight stay appear as separate, clearly labelled lines in the quote — never hidden in the package price.
Stuttgart is not a day trip from Essen. We plan the journey so that we are at the stand before the doors open — usually that means arriving the day before. Travel and the overnight stay are stated separately and transparently in the quote; they are not included in the package prices.
On multi-day bookings those costs spread across several show days, which is why a full first day plus shorter follow-up blocks often makes the most sense in Stuttgart.
The hour before the doors open belongs to the stand: architecture, signage, exhibits, lighting — no visitors in frame and no crates in the background. These are the images for your website, your press pack and next year's stand proposal.
Between roughly 10:00 and 13:00 the footfall peaks. That is when the busy pictures happen: full stands, conversations, demonstrations, people in motion. Late afternoon, once the rush drops off, is the window for team portraits and interviews.
LogiMAT, Motek and Control are about systems, automation and metrology — demonstrations, controls and conversations are the more valuable material there. At CMT or R+T, vehicles, fabrics and surfaces dominate; there we work closer to the product and with more detail shots.

For shorter assignments a full day usually makes more sense than a three-hour block, since the journey is incurred regardless. Many clients book a full first day and add shorter blocks on following days for interviews and stage programme.
