A yacht in an exhibition hall is a 15-metre high-gloss object under hall lighting — with cabins that hardly any light reaches. We photograph and film boats so that line, deck and interior look the way they do on the water.

A hull is a large, curved, high-gloss surface. In the hall it reflects the ceiling rig, trusses and neighbouring stands — and those reflections destroy exactly the line your yard designed the boat for. We work with polarising filters, carefully chosen camera positions and, where the stand allows, our own light source that draws the hull evenly.
The second point is the viewpoint. From the hall floor a boat quickly looks squat. So we shoot from raised positions — pontoon, podium or a neighbouring stand — and with focal lengths that keep the proportions rather than distorting them.
Below deck it is tight and dark, and that is exactly where many buyers form their impression. We photograph cabins, saloon and galley with wide-angle lenses and additional soft light that renders wood and upholstery naturally, without the shot looking flashed. On deck it is about fittings, cockpit layout and material detail — images your sales team can use all year.
For video, walkthroughs work best: a steady camera move from the pontoon across the deck into the saloon, 30 to 60 seconds, subtitled rather than voiced — the format that gets shared most from boot.
boot runs for nine days and two weekends. For clean product shots without visitors we recommend the first weekday before opening; for atmosphere, busy stands and customer conversations, the first weekend. If you want both, book a full day on the Friday or Saturday of the first week: product shots before opening, crowds and interviews afterwards.
For multi-day needs — a premiere on day one and a customer event at the weekend, say — reduced rates apply from the second day.
Hull and line from a raised position, polarising filter against hall reflections.
Saloon, cabins and galley with wide-angle lenses and soft fill light — natural rather than flashed.
Steady camera move from pontoon to below deck, 30–60 seconds, for website and social media.
Architecture and lighting before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Consultations on board and on the stand — with international visitors and dealers.
Statements from yard, designer or sales with radio mics — intelligible even with hall noise.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
