A picture of a machine at rest shows what it looks like. A picture of it running shows what it can do, and that is what trade visitors at HANNOVER MESSE, EuroBLECH or LIGNA want to see. So we ask for the demo schedule on your stand in advance and agree with your technicians where we may stand while the machine is running. Sparks and chips we freeze with short shutter speeds, robots and production steps we film with smooth camera moves so the process stays easy to follow in the film. If several machines run on your stand, we set an order so that each one is captured once in operation and once in detail.
The second topic is noise. Next to a running machine, an interview recorded on the camera microphone is barely usable. We work with lavalier microphones on the speaker, schedule interviews during demo breaks or in a quieter corner of the stand, and record press conferences and unveilings with two cameras and separate sound. The result is a statement from your management that works without subtitles, plus a subtitled version in English, German, Arabic or Farsi on request. First clips for LinkedIn are cut the same day.
Light changes from hall to hall as well. According to Deutsche Messe, Hall 13 is column-free and can be darkened at 23,615 m², Hall 2 is also column-free at 15,515 m², and Hall 27 measures 30,845 m². In darkened areas or with light shows on the stand we adjust exposure and our own light so that screens and illuminated machines do not blow out and your team's faces still look good.
The Deutsche Messe grounds lie in the south of Hannover on the border with Laatzen and, according to the venue, cover 392,500 m² of hall space and 58,000 m² of open-air site. Access works by zone. In the north, the North 1 and North 2 entrances lead to Hall 2 and Halls 19/20, with tram line 8 stopping right in front of the halls. In the east, East 3 and South 1 lead to Halls 6 to 11, 14 to 16 and the Convention Center, which a glass walkway links to Hall 7. The large Halls 13 and 27 in the west each have their own entrance.
We tell you in advance which entrance we will use and put every location of the day into one route: your stand (booth), a partner stand, a talk stage, the open-air site. Between zones far apart we plan buffer time. Our crew travels from Essen the evening before; from the Hauptbahnhof, lines 8 and 18 take around 18 minutes to the Messe/Nord terminus according to the venue, and the Hannover Messe/Laatzen ICE station sits right at the West 1 entrance. Travel is quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week. During the show our crew needs exhibitor passes or tickets, so please plan two or three. For colleagues flying in: the S5 runs from the airport to the Hauptbahnhof, and a taxi takes around 30 minutes depending on traffic.
Outside, on the open-air site, at Hermesplatz or under the EXPO canopy with its four wooden pavilions, we work with daylight and weather. Large agricultural machinery at Agritechnica or exhibits at EuroTier need wide lenses and raised viewpoints. A drone is no shortcut here: take-off and landing are generally not allowed on the grounds or car parks, and exceptions need prior written consent from Deutsche Messe.
This is how we plan a day with hall and open-air site. Before opening we shoot the empty stand and the machines in detail, without visitors and without motion blur. For the first demo we are at the agreed position and film the machine running. Interviews go into the next demo break. In the afternoon we move with your team to the open-air site or a partner stand, depending on where light and your programme allow. A first selection is ready in the evening, and the full package with highlight video and vertical clips follows within 24 hours.
The Deutsche Messe house and grounds regulations (July 2025) require prior written permission for commercial photo, film and online productions. Productions that exhibitors carry out on their own stand, themselves or through third parties they commission, are exempt. Our work on your stand falls under that exemption. For shots outside the stand, for example at a shared stage or on the open-air site, we clear permission in advance with you and the organiser.
EuroBLECH runs in October 2026, followed in November 2026 by EuroTier and EnergyDecentral side by side; if you are at both, you get one day plan. 2027 brings didacta in February, an education fair with many talks and hands-on areas, Tire Technology Expo in March, HANNOVER MESSE in April, LIGNA in May and Agritechnica in November.
EuroBLECH, EuroTier, LIGNA and Agritechnica are not annual. The images from one edition have to carry you to the next, on the website, in catalogues, distributor decks and on LinkedIn. So we deliberately shoot timeless material too: machine details without the show backdrop and portraits of your specialists that still work on your website and careers page after the show. At seven show days, as at Agritechnica, booking every day in full rarely makes sense. A full first day for stand, team and film plus a shorter block on the day of your press conference or key customer meetings works well.
HANNOVER MESSE and Agritechnica draw exhibitors from all over the world. Companies outside the EU are invoiced without German VAT; EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice.
