SPS – Smart Production Solutions has been the automation industry's trade fair since 1990: more than 1,000 exhibitors show controllers, drives, sensors, software and, this year above all, industrial AI in Nuremberg. We photograph control cabinets, HMIs and demo cells so automation engineers can identify the components — and film whatever moves on your stand.

The typical SPS exhibit is a grey terminal block, a frequency inverter, a controller in a cabinet or a sensor the size of a finger. Under hall lighting these parts look flat and barely differ from the competitor two stands away. We photograph them with side light and shallow depth so connectors, status LEDs, labelling and widths are recognisable — the material your sales team sends to design engineers.
HMIs and engineering software are screen content: we adjust the shutter speed, expose screen and operator separately and keep interfaces legible. If you show AI applications — anomaly detection, machine vision, assistance systems — you need exactly these shots, because otherwise the product is invisible.
What sets SPS apart from a catalogue is the running application on the stand: an axis positioning, a gripper, a conveyor with a camera system. We film motion sequences at high frame rate and in real time, add close-ups of the components involved and cut a 30-second highlight and vertical clips for LinkedIn — ready on the evening of the shoot day.
We record statements from your product managers with radio mics right next to the machine; subtitles come in English and German, since a large share of visitors travels in from abroad.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the strongest days with the most technical conversations. We recommend using the hour before opening for stand and component shots, when the aisles are empty and the demo cells run without an audience. Conversations, demos and interviews follow during the show.
Thursday is quieter and suits team portraits and longer interviews. SPS takes place every year — the material carries you to the next edition in autumn 2027 and in the meantime replaces renderings in presentations and on the website.
Connectors, LEDs and labelling recognisable — side light and shallow depth for terminals, inverters and sensors.
Screen and operator exposed separately, interfaces legible — for AI applications too.
Axes and grippers at high frame rate and in real time, close-ups of the components.
Architecture and lighting before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Consultations at the exhibit with design, automation and maintenance engineers.
Statements next to the running machine with radio mics, delivered with subtitles.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.

Yes. With side light and shallow depth, connectors, LEDs and labelling remain recognisable. We shoot a product range from the same angle so the images match in the catalogue.
We match the shutter speed to the refresh rate and expose screen and operator separately. We also film the application working together with the machine so the benefit becomes visible.
Tuesday or Wednesday: the most technical conversations, and the hour before opening for stand and component shots. Thursday is quieter and suits team portraits and interviews.
