A ball valve in polished stainless steel is a mirror. In the exhibition hall it shows the ceiling lights, the neighbouring stand and the photographer. We work with a polarising filter, controlled angles and our own large light source so the surface reads as material, not as a white glare. Cast parts with rough surfaces need the opposite: hard raking light that shows structure and casting quality.
Cutaway models are the most important exhibit at Valve World. We photograph them so seat, stem and flow path are legible in a single image — with a small aperture for depth of field and light that draws the edges. Those shots later replace three pages of explanation in the data sheet.
Actuators, test rigs and automated valves move — and a movement in fifteen seconds of video is more convincing than any sketch. We film switching sequences at high frame rate and cut a short social clip plus longer sequences for sales and your website.
The material stays your most current trade fair content for two years, because Valve World Expo is only held every two years. For many exhibitors that is the reason not to book the smallest package here.
Valve World is one of the most international shows in Düsseldorf: visitors from oil and gas, chemicals, energy and water come from the Middle East, Asia and North America. A full day on Tuesday or Wednesday covers clean product shots before opening and the conversations afterwards. Engagement and interviews run in English; companies outside the EU are invoiced without German VAT.
