The exhibits at VISION are small: an industrial camera fits in one hand, a lens is the size of a thumb, an image sensor smaller than a fingernail. At the same time many stands keep their lighting low so that demos with structured light, laser lines or infrared remain visible. For the camera that means product shots with controlled side light, so that housing edges, mount and connectors show, and a white balance that keeps black camera bodies black and anodised aluminium neutral.
The second challenge is screens. Almost every demo shows its result on a monitor: detected objects, measured values, bounding boxes. We expose so that monitor and exhibit are legible at the same time and match the moment of capture to the refresh rate, so no banding appears. The photo then shows not only the camera but also what it recognises.
At VISION a product explains itself through its application: the conveyor with the parts, the lighting, the camera, the result on screen. We film this chain in one sequence — from part to inspection result — and add close-ups of the components. The outcome is a 30-second highlight and vertical clips that your distributors in Europe, Asia and North America can reuse directly, because they work without language.
An interview with your product manager or CTO in English or German with a wireless microphone completes the material; we deliver it with subtitles. Presentations on the show stages are covered on request.
VISION takes place every two years; the material from October 2026 stays current until the next edition in 2028 and replaces studio photos for two years of products that will long be in series production by then. The shoot is therefore especially worthwhile for new launches.
On Tuesday the international share is high and the aisles are full; for stand overviews without visitors we use the time before opening. Wednesday is the day of most technical conversations and interviews. On Thursday the stands are quieter — ideal for product shots with time for lighting, and for team portraits in front of the demo zone.
Housing, mount, connectors and sensor in side light, so edges are visible and colours neutral.
Exhibit and screen legible at the same time — no banding, no blown-out display.
Structured light, laser lines and infrared demos exposed cleanly in low stand lighting.

A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.

No. We work with available light, high sensitivity and a steady camera, without flash, so your laser or infrared demo stays visible in the picture. For product shots we use a small, controlled light source at the edge of the stand.
Yes, at VISION that is the most important point. We expose for the monitor, match the capture to the refresh rate and deliver images in which exhibit and result can be read at the same time.
