The 43rd Motek is the trade fair for production and assembly automation — in 2024 it brought 409 exhibitors from 19 countries and almost 19,000 trade visitors to Stuttgart. From 2026 it runs only every two years, together with Bondexpo and alongside VISION. We photograph and film your assembly cell, robot and feeding system so that design engineers understand the sequence.

At Motek almost everything moves: pick-and-place units, six-axis robots, vibratory feeders, screwdriving spindles, linear axes. For visitors that is the attraction of the stand; for the camera it is a task. A gripper photographed at the wrong moment is a smear; a cycle that ends too early shows an empty pallet system. We photograph the machine at the moment gripper and workpiece meet, with short shutter speeds and no flash, so the motion is frozen and the sequence still reads.
Then come the pictures your sales team actually needs: the operator panel with a legible display, interfaces and cable routing, the gripper change, the type plate, the safety enclosure from inside. Aluminium profiles, anodised surfaces and safety glass reflect the hall lighting; we choose angles and white balance so that metal stays grey and glass does not glare.
Automation explains itself in motion. We film the complete cycle of your system from two or three perspectives, plus close-ups of gripper, feeding and inspection station, and cut a 30-second highlight for LinkedIn as well as vertical clips for Instagram and your distributors. A short statement by your application engineer with a wireless microphone explains cycle time and benefit — recorded in a quieter corner of the stand, because the Motek halls are loud.
If your team speaks in the lecture forum or exhibits in the start-up area, we photograph there as well — speaker, audience and your slides as quote images.
Motek runs for only three days in 2026 and does not return until 2028. The material from Stuttgart therefore has to last two years: for your website, show report, sales documents and the social channels of your dealers. Choosing the shooting day deliberately pays off.
Tuesday is opening day with most press and first-time visits; Wednesday usually brings the densest technical conversations and suits conversation pictures and interviews. For clean stand overviews without visitors we use the time before opening. Thursday is quieter, good for team portraits and the last machine shots. You receive the highlight video and first images on the evening of the shooting day.
Gripper, workpiece and sequence frozen at the right moment — short shutter speeds, no flash.
Conveyors, linear axes and spindles photographed so that design engineers recognise the set-up.
The complete machine cycle from several perspectives, cut to 30 seconds for LinkedIn.
Your stand before opening, tidy and with no visitors in frame.
Panel, interfaces, gripper change and type plate — the pictures that are missing from the quote.
Application engineers and management with wireless microphone, delivered with subtitles.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.

Yes, that is the norm at Motek. We watch the cycle, pick the telling moments and shoot with short shutter speeds; for the video we film several cycles from different perspectives.
