eltefa is the trade fair for electrical engineering, energy, buildings and industry in southern Germany: in 2025 more than 24,600 trade visitors came to around 430 exhibitors, and for 2027 over 300 companies had registered eight months ahead. Volta-X runs in parallel, joined in 2027 by hy-fcell for hydrogen and fuel cells. Switchgear, luminaires, wallboxes and building automation are technical products with many displays and cables — we photograph them so that electrical contractors and planners understand the set-up.

The exhibits at eltefa have three photographic peculiarities. Switchgear and distribution boards are grey, deep and full of small parts — terminals, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, cable routing — that blur into a pattern in a quick photo. We photograph them with side light and enough depth of field so wiring and labelling are legible, and from an angle that shows the order inside the cabinet your sales team argues with.
Luminaires and lighting systems are exposed for the luminaire, not for the stand — an LED panel must not burn out, and colour temperatures from 2,700 to 6,500 kelvin should remain distinguishable in the picture. Wallboxes, inverters, smart home hubs and controllers show their function on displays and apps, which we keep legible, matched to the refresh rate and without reflections of the hall lighting in the glass.
The audience of eltefa is the electrical trade of south-west Germany — and it increasingly informs itself through short videos. We film your stand as a walk-through, the installation or operation of your products in close-up and short statements by your product managers or field sales with a wireless microphone. The result is a 30-second highlight for LinkedIn and vertical clips your wholesalers and contractor partners use in their own channels.
If your company speaks in one of the eltefa forums or at Volta-X, we photograph talk, audience and slides as well — distances on the grounds are short.
eltefa takes place every two years; the material from Stuttgart carries through website, catalogues, training and social media until the next edition in 2029. Tuesday is opening day with associations and press; Wednesday brings the densest contractor conversations and suits conversation pictures and interviews. Thursday is quieter and good for product shots with time for lighting and for team portraits.
Stand overviews without visitors are taken in the time before opening. You receive the highlight video and first images on the evening of the shooting day, the complete material within 24 hours.
