A riflescope or binocular is a tube of black metal with glass lenses — under hall lighting a dark cylinder with white reflections on which neither engraving nor coating can be seen. We photograph optics with a polarising filter and side light that draws the contour of the housing, and for detail shots look through the glass itself. Hunting firearms demand the same: dark metal, oiled wood, engravings visible only in raking light. Clothing in loden and camouflage is photographed on the form and worn, with light that does not pull greens and browns towards grey.
And then the dogs. A hunting dog on the stand, a puppy in the arms of a visitor, a pointer in the ring — we work without flash and with short exposures so animals are not startled and movement stays sharp. Shots with dog and product are the material shared most at this show.
The show lives on its programme: dog demonstrations, birds of prey in flight, off-road vehicles on the course, deer callers on stage. If your brand sponsors a demonstration, has a vehicle on the course or a dog handler wears your equipment, we film at high frame rate for slow motion and cut vertical clips with your branding that go online on the show day. Statements from hunters, dog handlers and your team are recorded with radio mics.
Exhibitors from Austria, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and overseas — hunting travel operators, optics manufacturers, clothing brands — are briefed in English.
Tuesday to Friday are the quieter days: time for product shots of optics, firearms and clothing with our own light, for team portraits and interviews. Saturday and Sunday bring the full halls, the families and the big demonstrations — the pictures that show your stand pulls a crowd. A four-hour package on Wednesday or Thursday covers product and stand; a full Saturday with product shots before opening covers product, crowds and demonstrations in one day.
