In September 2026 we were at InterTabac for Rush, a nicotine pouch brand. On the first show day we filmed the product wall, counter and details before opening; on the second day the team, sales conversations and visitors. Photo and vertical video ran in parallel, with two of us and without interrupting a single conversation. The reels for both days went to the marketing team the same evening, and after the show came a vertical recap and a customer testimonial recorded on the stand in landscape.
We know this industry from other shows too: Tyson at InterTabac 2023, YOOZ in Dortmund and at World Vape Show in Dubai. Stands in this segment work with LED walls, dark lounges and vapour in the frame. We match shutter and white balance to the walls and put our own neutral light on the products. Product and advertising claims stay with you: we film what is on the stand.
Messe Dortmund lies on the Rheinlanddamm, south of the city centre. The site combines the exhibition halls, the Westfalenhalle as a large event arena and the congress centre. For video this means stand, stage and auditorium in one place, and quite often all three belong to one appearance. We plan the day so that your stand in the morning and a talk or award ceremony in the afternoon fit into the same filming day.
Stage programmes are recorded with two to four cameras and sound from the mixing desk rather than camera microphones. Besides the full recording we deliver one cut per speaker on request, so each speaker can share their own talk.
The Westfalenhallen calendar is mixed. In autumn the finance and insurance industry meets at DKM, where conversations and stages matter more than exhibits. BUILDINX is about logistics and industrial real estate that exists on the stand only as a model and a rendering, HEATEXPO about heat supply. In January the event industry gathers at boe international, where the stands themselves work with light, LED and stage technology.
The big public shows follow in spring: JAGD & HUND in February with dog demonstrations, MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND and CREATIVA in March, INTERMODELLBAU in April. At CREATIVA close-ups of hands and short vertical how-tos work best, at INTERMODELLBAU models in motion. InterTabac returns in September 2027, and SOLIDS and RECYCLING-TECHNIK follow in December 2027 with plants and process technology.
Dortmund is about 40 minutes from our office in Essen. Travel is part of every package, including several show days in a row.
