Bulk solids technology is made of stainless steel: screw conveyors, screening machines, big bag stations, dosing units, pipework. Under the hall lighting of the Westfalenhallen these surfaces reflect trusses and neighbouring stands, and the plant becomes a restless patchwork in the picture. We work with a polarising filter and our own light that draws edges and weld seams, and with a wide angle from a slightly raised position so a three-metre plant remains legible as a whole.
Many exhibitors run their plant with granulate or powder. That is material for video: flow behaviour, screen movement, dosing — movements a photo cannot convey. We film short clips from a fixed position and add detail shots of screens, seals and wear parts with directed light.
SOLIDS runs alongside RECYCLING-TECHNIK in halls 4 to 7, and many visitors walk through both. Exhibitors with stands at both shows are covered on the same day without surcharge. If you speak in the stage programme or are featured in the innovation gallery, you get talk and audience from several positions, filmed in full with audio on request.
Conversations on the stand are dense at a two-day show: plant managers and process engineers arrive with concrete tasks. We photograph consultations without flash and from a distance and conduct short interviews with a radio mic — your application engineer on the solution, a customer on the result, with subtitles, in German or English.
Wednesday is the stronger day. We recommend a full day: stand overviews and plant shots in the hour before opening, then conversations, running plant on video, stage slot and interviews. On Thursday two to four hours are enough for late appointments and team portraits. Highlight video and first images are delivered on Wednesday evening so your post goes live while the show is still running.
Dortmund is 35 minutes from our office in Essen — travel is included in the package price, and an extra slot on the second day can usually be arranged at short notice.

With a polarising filter, our own light source and carefully chosen angles. The plant then shows form and weld seams instead of trusses; the cleanest shots are taken in the hour before opening.
Yes. Short clips from a fixed position show flow behaviour, screen movement and dosing. You receive the clips individually for product page and social media and as part of the highlight video.
No, one booking is enough. Both shows take place at the same time in halls 4 to 7, and we cover both stands on the same day without surcharge.
Yes. Interviews, briefing and the entire engagement run in English — a large share of our trade fair clients come from outside Germany. Invoices with VAT ID for EU companies, no German VAT for companies outside the EU.
