Few shows are as monochrome to photograph as Tire Technology Expo. Rubber compounds, green tires, carbon black, conveyor belts, black-painted machines — everything absorbs light, and the hall lighting of halls 19 to 21 turns it into surfaces without texture. We work with raking light that brings out tread, structure and edges, and with our own light on machine parts so rollers, dies and measuring heads become recognisable as shapes.
With testing and measurement equipment the opposite applies: bright displays, laser lines, X-ray images on monitors. Here we balance exposure so screen and device are readable at the same time. For data sheets we additionally photograph components head-on against a neutral background on the stand.
Extruders, winders and building machines running on the stand are filmed at high frame rate. In slow motion you see what your sales team otherwise describes in words: web guidance, cutting, laydown. From that material we cut a 30-second highlight for LinkedIn and longer sequences for customer presentations and your website.
The conference is part of the show. If your head of development speaks there, we photograph talk and audience and, on request, take audio from the room's mixing desk. With the customers from development and purchasing present, short statements can be recorded on the stand — in English, the working language of this show.
At a three-day show with a conference, the trade audience concentrates on days one and two. We recommend a four-hour package on Tuesday: the hour before opening for clean stand and machine shots, then conversations, demos and interviews. Thursday is quieter and suits team and product shots that need time.
