Messe Frankfurt sits in the west of the city, one S-Bahn stop from the Hauptbahnhof. The S-Bahn station Messe and the U-Bahn stop Festhalle/Messe are on the grounds, and Frankfurt Airport is a short S-Bahn ride away, which makes this the easiest German venue for exhibitors flying in.
The halls are numbered up to 12 on a long site with several levels; the Via Mobile moving walkways connect them, and the historic Festhalle and the Forum stand at the City entrance. Distances are long, so a hall plan matters. Hall light is artificial; the glass Galleria gives daylight.
Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld share the grounds in late January, Heimtextil opens the year in mid-January and ISH follows in March. Formnext and Fi Europe run in November, the Frankfurter Buchmesse in October, ACHEMA in June 2027 and EUROBIKE at the start of July 2027.
Automechanika returns in September 2028; IMEX in May and CPhI Worldwide in November 2027 bring international delegations.

Non-EU companies are invoiced without German VAT. EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice. German companies pay VAT at the standard rate.
For Ambiente, ISH and Automechanika, four to six weeks ahead is sensible, also because hotels fill up. Outside the peak weeks a few days are often enough.
No. As exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand; our crew enters on your exhibitor passes or a media pass we arrange. For other stands and recognisable visitors we ask for consent where required.
Travel to Frankfurt and, where needed, an overnight stay are quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week, so the share per exhibitor is small.
Within 24 hours after the show day ends, first photos usually the same day, so you can post while the show is still running.
For one stand, yes. If partner stands or a stage elsewhere need covering, book the Full Day so the walking time between halls does not eat into the shooting time.
