At plastics fairs, machines run. An injection moulding machine produces real parts on the stand, a robot takes them out, a conveyor brings them to the visitor. That is the strongest image of the day if you catch it right: the moment the mould opens, the part still warm on the belt, the visitor's hand picking it up. We photograph and film the cycle so it becomes clear in a few seconds.
With materials, colours and additives, colour accuracy is everything. A masterbatch producer cannot use images in which red looks orange because the hall light is yellow. We photograph granules, samples and colour cards with our own light and calibrated colour correction. Transparent parts are shot against the light so clarity and wall thickness show.
Moulds and tools often belong to your customers. Agree in advance what may be photographed; confidential tools and customer parts go on the shot list's no-shoot list.
Fakuma in Friedrichshafen is the trade fair for plastics processing, with injection moulding, extrusion and thermoforming. Additive manufacturing is at Formnext in Frankfurt; coatings, paints and their raw materials at European Coatings Show in Nuremberg. Adhesives and bonding have two dates in Stuttgart with Bondexpo and the Adhesives & Bonding Expo. Recycling and secondary raw materials are the topic of RECYCLING-TECHNIK in Dortmund, plastic packaging of FACHPACK in Nuremberg. Surfaces and components for furniture makers are at interzum in Cologne.
Friedrichshafen is on Lake Constance, far from our office in Essen. We quote travel once per trip and share it between exhibitors of the same show week; Dortmund and Cologne are in North Rhine-Westphalia, where it is included.
The Fakuma halls are bright, but machines with glass safety doors reflect. We shoot through the glass, with a polarising filter when needed, so the view of the mould stays clear.
Before doors open: stand overview, colour samples and granules with our own light, transparent parts against the light. If the machine is already running in test mode, we film the cycle with no visitors in the background.
Morning: team photo and portraits, then the machine running with an audience, visitors taking parts off the belt. Midday to afternoon: technical conversations, interviews with application engineering and sales, vertical clips.
Fakuma runs for five days. For busy stand images we recommend one of the middle days; if you launch something on day one, we plan the booking around it.
Plastics companies sell to processors, brand owners and buyers who want to see quality. We deliver machine images, part details, colour samples and stand overviews in high resolution with unlimited usage rights, ready for catalogues, presentations and agents abroad.
Sustainability and the circular economy shape the industry. If you show recyclates, bio-based materials or design for recycling, interviews with your application engineers explain the solution more credibly than any brochure, in English, German, Arabic or Farsi, with subtitles. Exhibitors from Italy, Turkey, India or China can use the same film at home.
The 30-second highlight film with a running machine suits LinkedIn, vertical 9:16 clips work for Reels and Shorts. Everything is ready within 24 hours after the show ends.

We photograph colour samples with our own light and calibrated correction, so the colours match the sample rather than the hall lighting.
