The European Coatings Show is the trade fair of the paint and coatings industry and takes place only every two years: around 1,200 exhibitors show raw materials, laboratory and production technology for paints, coatings, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives. At a show where colour is the product, colour has to be right in the picture. We photograph pigments, sample panels and equipment true to colour and film your stand while formulators and buyers are standing on it.

At the European Coatings Show a shade decides a deal. Hall lighting shifts it — a white turns yellowish, a metallic effect disappears, gloss levels can no longer be compared. We work with a grey card, our own light and a defined white balance and match colours to your sample panel in post-production. Sample panels, drawdowns and effect pigments we photograph at a controlled angle so gloss, texture and flop become visible instead of reflecting.
Raw materials are photographically unremarkable: powder in a jar, clear liquids, granulate. We set them up with backlight and a neutral background as a product range, from the same angle for website, data sheet and presentation.
Dispersers, rheometers, spray booths and test instruments run on the stand in demo mode. Video shows how fast an instrument measures, how even a coat becomes, how a formulation behaves. We film applications in close-up, record your application engineer's explanation with a radio mic and cut a 30-second highlight plus vertical clips — with subtitles in English and German for an international audience.
If you speak at the European Coatings Show Conference, you get speaker and audience shots from two positions without flash; the conference starts on the Monday before the show.
Tuesday is the strongest day with the most technical conversations. We use the hour before opening for stand, product and equipment shots without visitors; conversations, demos and interviews follow. Thursday is quieter and suits team portraits and extensive product series.
Because the European Coatings Show only takes place every two years, the material has to last until 2029. We deliver a complete selection in catalogue quality rather than a handful of hero shots — your marketing and sales teams draw on it for two years.
