One hour ahead of London and a short flight away, a German fair is close to home, but invoicing and equipment work differently since Brexit. We photograph and film your stand in English, invoice without German VAT and deliver before your flight back.

Since the UK left the EU, two practical things have changed for a British company at a German fair. Invoicing: the UK is outside the EU VAT area, so a service like ours is invoiced without German VAT. Equipment: a UK crew bringing professional camera kit into the EU usually needs customs paperwork such as an ATA carnet, on top of flights and hotel nights for the whole show.
What did not change: the fairs, the halls and the value of good material from the stand. Pixer is based in Essen, directly at Messe Essen, and works at every major German venue. The on-site team is two to three people who know the halls and the rules for filming on a stand (booth); the editing team cuts remotely while the show is running. You bring the products and the people, we bring everything else, and nothing has to go through customs.
Drinks companies have two key dates: ProWein in Düsseldorf in March for wine and spirits, and Bar Convent Berlin in October, where gin, whisky and craft spirits brands meet the bar trade. Travel and tourism organisations exhibit at ITB Berlin in March. Medical technology and life sciences companies go to MEDICA in Düsseldorf in November, and fitness equipment and sports nutrition brands to FIBO in Cologne in April.
Game studios and publishers present at gamescom in Cologne in August. Aviation suppliers go to the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg in April, and maritime and cruise companies to Seatrade Europe in Hamburg, held every two years in September. Engineering, automation and energy technology firms exhibit at HANNOVER MESSE in April.
If you also exhibit at home, the same crew covers shows at ExCeL and Olympia in London, with the same fixed packages.
The invoice comes from Pixer GmbH, a German company with a VAT identification number, and is in euro, net of German VAT for UK companies. Payment is 50 percent on booking, which secures the date, and 50 percent on the show day, by bank transfer. Prices are fixed: Trade Fair Basic €990 for two hours, Professional €1,490 for four hours and Full Day €1,990 for eight hours. The quote you approve is the amount on the invoice.
Travel within North Rhine-Westphalia, which covers Düsseldorf, Essen, Cologne and Dortmund, is included. For Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt or Munich, travel is quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week, so you see one agreed figure before you confirm.
Show content for a UK company can serve LinkedIn, the website, the trade press and the sales team. We deliver landscape video and photos for LinkedIn and press releases, vertical clips for Instagram and LinkedIn mobile, and captions and on-screen text in British English, so nobody at home has to change color to colour. Interviews run in English; subtitles in German, Arabic or Persian are available if you sell into those markets.
Germany is one hour ahead of the UK all year. First selected photos usually go out the same evening, while your office is still online; the complete edited set and the highlight video follow within 24 hours after the coverage ends. Everything is in your inbox before the flight back to Heathrow or Manchester, with unlimited usage rights and two revision rounds included.
UK companies receive a net invoice in euro. 50 % on booking, 50 % on the show day.
A local crew means no customs paperwork for camera equipment and no extra flights.

Stand, product and team photos sized for press releases and trade press coverage.
