A training machine is black-painted steel with chrome bars, rubber grips and a display — under the coloured LED panels and spots of FIBO stands an object without contour. We photograph equipment in the hour before opening with our own light and a polarising filter so frames, guides and upholstery are recognisable as materials, and add detail shots of mechanism, adjustment and display. For supplements, apparel and accessories we set up a table rig on the stand and photograph ranges in the same light for online shop and dealer portal.
Then comes what makes FIBO: athletes on the machine. We work with short exposures and high frame rate, without flash, so movement stays sharp and the lighting mood of the stand is preserved. A machine with an athlete mid-rep is the picture a gym operator remembers.
FIBO is the show whose audience films and shares the most. We film training, competitions and hands-on activities on your stand at high frame rate for slow motion and cut vertical clips for Instagram and TikTok that go online on the show day — with your branding, before visitors post their own videos. A 30-second highlight of the day and statements from athletes, trainers and management with radio mics are part of it; given the noise level at FIBO we use shotgun mics at close range.
More than half of the exhibitors come from abroad; briefing and interviews run in English.
Thursday and Friday are the days when gym operators, dealers and buyers come — quieter aisles, time for equipment shots before opening and trade conversations. Saturday and Sunday are packed, loud and the place for athlete shots, competitions and crowds. A four-hour package on Thursday covers equipment and B2B; a full Saturday with equipment shots before opening covers product, athletes and full halls in one day. If you need both, combine Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon.
