For a Turkish exporter the flight to Germany is short, and bringing your own photographer can look like the simple option. In practice it adds a flight, hotel nights, an exhibitor pass and a Schengen visa application that has to be planned weeks ahead. The camera equipment has to travel too, and on a busy day nobody on the stand (booth) has time to look after a visiting crew.
Pixer is based in Essen, 30 seconds from the entrance of Messe Essen, and works at every major German venue. The on-site team is two to three people who know the halls, the light and the rules for photographing in the aisles. The editing team works remotely while the show is running. Your sales team keeps talking to buyers; we work around the conversations and never stop one for a photo.
Textiles and home furnishings are the obvious start. Towels, bed linen, curtains and upholstery fabrics go to Heimtextil in Frankfurt in January; tableware, glass, ceramics and gifts to Ambiente a few weeks later. Furniture fittings and components go to interzum in Cologne, held every two years in May, and building materials to BAU in Munich, held every two years in January. Bathroom ceramics, fittings and heating equipment meet installers at ISH in Frankfurt, also every two years, in March.
Food exporters have their own calendar: Anuga in Cologne every two years in October, ISM for confectionery, snacks, nuts and dried fruit at the start of the year, and FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin in February for fresh produce. Auto parts suppliers go to Automechanika in Frankfurt, every two years in September, and sheet metal and machinery makers to EuroBLECH in Hannover in October of even years.
If you exhibit at home as well, the same crew covers shows in Istanbul, so your German and Turkish show material has one look.
Türkiye is in a customs union with the EU for goods, but it is not part of the EU VAT area. For a service like ours, that means a Turkish company receives a net invoice from Pixer GmbH without German VAT. The invoice is in euro and paid by bank transfer: 50 percent on booking, which secures the date, and 50 percent on the show day. Prices are fixed at €990, €1,490 or €1,990 for two, four or eight hours of coverage, and the quote you approve is the amount on the invoice.
We work in English, German, Arabic and Persian. We do not speak Turkish. Booking, briefing and direction on the stand run in English, which export teams use every day with their European buyers. Turkish subtitles can be delivered on request: we arrange the translation and your team proofreads before the final version. A short overview in Turkish is on our Turkish page.
Turkish exporters often sell in three directions at once: to European buyers, to the home market and to the Middle East and North Africa. The same show coverage can serve all three. For Instagram and LinkedIn at home we cut vertical 9:16 clips and a photo selection that works on a phone. For European buyers there is the landscape highlight video and clean product photography. For customers in the Gulf and North Africa we subtitle interviews in Arabic, and if an Arabic-speaking partner visits the stand, we can interview them in Arabic on the spot.
Germany is one hour behind Türkiye in summer and two in winter, so the working day almost matches. First selected photos are usually sent the same evening; the complete edited set and the highlight video arrive within 24 hours after the coverage ends. Your office can post on day two while you are still on the stand, and everything is on your phone before the flight home.
Close-ups that show weave, finish and colour accurately, for catalogues and buyer presentations.
Türkiye is outside the EU VAT area. Invoice in euro, 50 % on booking, 50 % on the show day.
Vertical 9:16 clips and phone-ready photos for your channels at home, cut during the show.
Interviews subtitled in Arabic for buyers in the Gulf and North Africa; Turkish subtitles on request.
A highlight video built on pictures and short on-screen text, usable in every market without dubbing.
Heimtextil in January, interzum in May, Anuga in October: one brief and one look across the year.
