EuroCIS is the leading trade fair for retail technology in Europe: POS systems, self-checkout, electronic shelf labels, payment, analytics and AI for retail in halls 1, 4 and 5, plus three stages, a start-up hub and the reta Awards. The exhibit here is almost always a screen — and screens are what most often ruins trade fair photography. We photograph them so the software is legible and the stand behind it does not sink into darkness.

A self-checkout terminal, a POS display or a wall of electronic shelf labels is a problem for the camera: the display is brighter than the stand, it flickers at certain shutter speeds, and at an angle moiré appears. We expose for the screen and lift the stand with our own light, choose shutter speeds that match the refresh rate, and shoot straight enough that the software interface stays legible. The result is images in which your product is actually visible — not a white patch in front of a dark stand.
Small hardware — handheld scanners, payment terminals, printers, ESL tags — is photographed with a portable macro rig right on the stand, in the hand of a colleague or on the shelf, so size and use make sense.
Software sells in motion. We film the demo your product manager shows visitors — hands on the terminal, screens changing, the customer reacting — and combine it with screen recordings you provide so the interface appears sharp in the edit. If your company speaks on one of the three stages or stands in the start-up hub, we photograph speaker and audience and record the talk in full on request with audio from the mixing desk.
Statements from management, product management and retail customers are recorded with radio mics and cut as 30-second clips with subtitles for LinkedIn — the platform where retail IT decision-makers actually read.
Tuesday is the strongest day. We use the hour before opening for stand and screen shots: all systems running, all screens showing the prepared demo, nobody in frame. Then come conversations, demos and interviews once the aisles fill. A four-hour package on Tuesday covers both; highlight video and first images are delivered on Tuesday evening so your post is live while the show still has two days to run.
POS, self-checkout and ESL walls with legible software, no flicker or moiré.
Scanners, terminals and tags with a macro rig, in hand or on the shelf.
Your product manager live demo filmed and cut together with your screen recordings.
Architecture and running systems before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Speaker and audience from several positions, the talk recorded in full with desk audio on request.
Statements from management and retail customers with radio mics, subtitled as LinkedIn clips.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
