ICE Europe is the international leading exhibition for the converting of paper, film and foil: more than 300 exhibitors from around 25 countries show coating, laminating, drying, slitting and winding — machines that run and webs that shine. We photograph lines so process engineers can read the process, and film the web in motion without film and chrome rollers tearing the image apart.

Few fairs have as much reflective surface per square metre as ICE Europe: transparent film, metallised webs, polished rollers and stainless-steel housings. Under hall lighting this produces hotspots and mirror images of neighbouring stands. We work with polarising filters, broad raking light and a camera position that takes the reflections out of the web — the coating becomes visible as an even surface, the roller keeps its shape.
Slitting and winding lines show their quality in the detail: knife arrangement, edge guiding, the winding pattern of the finished roll. We photograph these details at short shutter speeds so web and knife stay sharp, and add an overall view of the line in which unwinder, coating station and dryer appear in one frame.
A running web is just a surface in a photograph. On video the viewer sees how it passes through the dryer, how the cut edge holds, how the roll change works without a stop. We film your line in short sequences from a tripod, with slow motion for fast events such as cross-cutting or splicing, and cut a 30-second highlight plus individual clips for your product pages.
ICE Europe visitors are plant managers, process engineers and buyers from packaging, label and film production — and increasingly from battery manufacturing. We conduct short interviews with your application engineers in English or German, with radio mics against the machine noise and subtitles in both languages.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the strongest days; Thursday is quieter and suits shots where the line should run without onlookers. We recommend a four-hour package on Tuesday or Wednesday: the hour before opening for the overall view of the line and the stand architecture, then demonstrations, conversations and interviews.
Because ICE Europe is held only every two years, your sales team works with this material until 2029 — and because we take on no more than four exhibitors per show day, we recommend agreeing a Tuesday slot early.
Film, metallised webs and chrome rollers with polariser and raking light — coating as a surface, roller in shape.
Unwinder, coating station and dryer in one frame, with details of knives and winding pattern.
Web run, roll change and cross-cut from a tripod, fast events in slow motion — for product pages and LinkedIn.
Stand architecture and line before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Consultations at the machine with plant managers and process engineers — no flash, no interruption.
Application engineers and customers with radio mic against the hall noise, subtitles in German and English.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.
