The Internationale Handwerksmesse is the leading fair for the skilled crafts: five days in March, exhibitors from more than 60 trades on 74,000 square metres and around 85,000 visitors who want to build, renovate, furnish and buy. Here people plane, weld, forge and advise — in front of an audience. We photograph and film your stand so your website, showroom and careers page live off it for a year.

What sets the IHM apart from a product fair: work happens on the stands. A joiner cuts a dovetail, a metalworker welds, a tiler cuts, a stonemason strikes — in front of visitors. These moments are the strongest material a craft business can get, and they last seconds. We work without flash, with short shutter speeds and fast lenses, and stay close to the hands: shavings, sparks, dust and tool sharp, background calm.
The products themselves — solid wood furniture, windows, staircases, bathrooms, tools — need side light so grain, surface and workmanship become visible. We photograph them in the quiet hour before opening with our own light and add detail shots of edge, fitting and joint that your business can use on the website and in quotes.
For many businesses the IHM is also a recruiting fair. A 30-second clip of your team working, explaining, laughing and answering questions on the stand tells future apprentices more than any job ad. We film demonstrations in short sequences, plus brief statements from master or journeyman with a radio mic — at the noise level in these halls the only way to get intelligible sound.
For manufacturers of tools, machines and building materials who meet the trade and the crafts at the IHM, we produce images of the product in use: the circular saw mid-cut, the cordless driver on the workpiece, the insulation board in the installer's hand.
The IHM is a consumer show with a trade share: Wednesday and Thursday are quieter and bring the trade conversations, Saturday and Sunday are full. We recommend a four-hour package on Friday or Saturday — the hour before 9:30 for products and stand architecture without visitors, then full aisles, demonstrations with an audience and buying conversations.
If you need quiet for team portraits and interviews, add the Wednesday. The IHM is held every year; the March material carries you to the next edition — and because we take on no more than four exhibitors per show day, the weekend slots go early.
Dovetail, weld seam, tile cut — no flash, short shutter speed, close to the hands.
Solid wood, stone, metal and fittings in side light — grain, edge and joint visible.
Short sequences of work on the stand for website, Instagram and careers page, plus the 30-second highlight.
Stand architecture and exhibits before 9:30, with no visitors in frame.
Consultations at the product with homeowners, renovators and the trade on the busy weekend.
Master craftsperson, journeyman or head of sales with radio mic against the hall noise, subtitles in German and English.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.
