Messe München is in Riem in the east of the city, on the site of the former Munich-Riem airport. The U2 stops Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost are at the two ends of the grounds; from Munich Airport you arrive by S-Bahn and U-Bahn with a change, or by taxi over the A94 and A99.
The halls are arranged in rows, A1 to A6, B0 to B6 and C1 to C6, along a central Atrium. The ICM congress centre and the Conference Center Nord sit at the ends, and a large outdoor area serves transport logistic and IAA MOBILITY. The halls have skylights, so daylight changes through the day, which we watch in colour grading.
BAU in January, electronica with SEMICON Europa in November 2026, EXPO REAL in October, INHORGENTA and opti early in the year, IHM in March, transport logistic with air cargo Europe in April 2027, Intersolar Europe with ees Europe in June 2027 and automatica with LASER World of PHOTONICS the same month.
IAA MOBILITY returns in September 2027 with its Summit on the grounds, inter airport Europe and iba in October 2027, productronica in November 2027.
We travel the evening before and are at your stand before opening. Because the Atrium is long, we agree hall, stand number and any second location in advance and plan per day: empty stand and team at opening, visitors and demos mid-morning, interviews at a quiet time.
Interviews are staged on your stand or in the Atrium, with lavalier microphone and our own light. You may photograph and film your own stand; for other stands and recognisable visitors we ask for consent where required. Delivery within 24 hours after the show day. For BAU, electronica and IAA MOBILITY, six weeks ahead is sensible, because Munich hotels fill early. Outside the peak weeks a few days are often enough.
No. As exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand; our crew enters on your exhibitor passes or a media pass we arrange. For other stands and recognisable visitors we ask for consent where required.
