A polished wafer is a mirror that also throws rainbow colours through diffraction. Depending on the angle of light it is black, silver or multicoloured — and almost always shows the hall ceiling. We light it directionally so the structure becomes visible and the reflection stays controlled. The same goes for stainless steel tools, vacuum chambers and cleanroom components: even surfaces that mirror every lamp. We work with large, soft light sources and pick positions where neither camera nor visitors appear in the surface.
Metrology and inspection systems have screens where the result appears. We balance exposure so tool and readout are legible in the same frame — the shot your sales team sends to fab operators.
SEMICON Europa is to a large extent a conference: Executive Forum, Advanced Packaging Conference, Fab Management Forum. If your management or CTO speaks there, we photograph stage and audience from several positions and cut short vertical quotes. Whether a full video recording is permitted is something we clear with the organiser beforehand.
Many SEMICON Europa exhibitors have a second stand or partners at electronica running in parallel. Both are on the same grounds; we cover them on the same day without surcharge. Interviews run in English — the European semiconductor industry works internationally, and most of our trade fair clients come from outside Germany.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the full days with the most technical conversations; Friday is shorter and quieter. We recommend a four-hour package on Tuesday or Wednesday: the hour before opening for tools and stand architecture without visitors, then conversations, forum and statements.
Friday suits team portraits and detail shots once the tool is no longer in continuous demo use. First images and the highlight video are ready on the evening of the shoot day, the complete delivery within 24 hours.
