iENA is the international trade fair for ideas, inventions and new products: independent inventors, inventor associations, universities and companies show over three days what they have been working on. For most exhibitors it is the one appearance a year where licensees, retailers and press come to the stand. We photograph your prototype and you so that it becomes a portfolio for your invention — and film the 30 seconds in which you explain it.

Inventions at iENA are often one-offs: a 3D-printed housing, a working sample from the workshop, a household helper that only makes sense in the hand. Hall lighting turns them into a flat, small object in a big room. We bring our own light and a neutral background to the stand and photograph your invention like a finished product — overall view, details, use in the hand — so it convinces in a licensing offer, a patent portfolio and a crowdfunding page.
Part of that is the portrait of the person behind the idea. Licensees and investors want to know who they are dealing with; a calm portrait on your own stand replaces the passport photo in the application file.
Most inventors explain their idea a hundred times over three days. We record the best version once, cleanly: you in frame, the invention working, a radio mic against the hall noise, subtitles in English and German. From that come a 30-second highlight and vertical clips — material you send to prospects instead of telling the story again each time.
If you are nominated for a medal, tell us the time of the ceremony. We photograph the presentation on stage, and you have picture and certificate together for the press release.
iENA opens on a Saturday and is open to the public. Saturday and Sunday therefore bring full aisles and plenty of people to the stand — good for shots with visitors and reactions, less good for calm product photography. Monday is much quieter; it suits prototype, portrait and interview without the crowds.
For a single inventor stand the two-hour package is usually enough: one hour of product and portrait, one hour of pitch video and stand shots. Associations and universities with several exhibitors on a shared area are better off with four hours, so each invention gets its own set of images.
Our own light, neutral background — your invention like a finished product, with details and use.
Calm portrait on the stand for licensing offers, patent portfolios and press.
Your explanation recorded once, cleanly, with radio mic and subtitles in two languages.
Shared areas of associations and universities before opening, with no visitors in frame.
Presentation on stage, picture and certificate together for your press release.
Short statements from inventors, partners and visitors, in English as well.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
