Anuga FoodTec is the international supplier trade fair for the food and beverage industry and takes place only every three years — eight segments from processing via filling and packaging to automation, intralogistics and safety, plus special areas such as the Pet Food Zone and the Cultivated Zone. The exhibit here is a stainless steel machine, often several metres long, shown in operation. We photograph it so it does not look like a mirror, and film it while it runs.

A filling or packaging line consists of brushed and polished stainless steel, glass panels, acrylic guards and control panels. Every one of these surfaces reflects hall lighting, neighbouring stands and the photographer. We shoot with a polarising filter, choose positions where reflections fall on non-critical surfaces, and add our own light so the edges and contours of the machine become legible instead of blurring into grey. We correct the perspective so a ten-metre line remains recognisable as a line and not as a wedge.
Details decide at a supplier show: valve, dosing head, gripper, sealing station, sensor. We photograph these components individually with raking light and in the context of the machine, plus the hygienic design features — welds, radii, seals — your customers check first.
A standing machine is a catalogue picture. A running machine is a sales argument. We film lines in operation at high frame rate so filling, capping, labelling or robot handling can be followed in slow motion, and cut a 30-second clip plus longer sequences for your website and sales presentations. Interviews with heads of development and customers are recorded with radio mics; next to running lines we use shotgun mics so the voice stays above the machine noise.
Exhibitors from Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland and overseas are briefed in English; invoices with VAT ID, without German VAT for companies outside the EU.
Because Anuga FoodTec takes place only every three years, the material has to last until 2030. So we focus on shots without date references: machine, components, team and statements. Tuesday is the strongest day — stand shots in the hour before opening when all lines are running and nobody is in frame, then conversations and interviews. A four-hour package covers that; if you show several machines, book the full day.
Stainless steel with polarising filter and our own light, perspective corrected — the line as a line.
Valves, dosing heads, grippers and hygienic design details in raking light, individually and in context.
Filling, capping and handling filmed at high frame rate, as a clip and as a sequence for sales.
Architecture and running machines before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Consultations with production and technical managers on the stand, no flash, no interruption.
Statements from heads of development and customers with radio or shotgun mics, in German or English, subtitled.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.

Yes. We work with wide-angle lenses and correct the perspective so the line remains recognisable as a line. Polarising filter and our own light keep reflections on stainless steel and guards under control.
