GIFA comes to Düsseldorf only every four years. Together with METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST it brings around 2,200 exhibitors and more than 60,000 trade visitors to the grounds — foundrymen, plant builders and buyers from over 100 countries. We photograph moulding lines, melting furnaces and castings so the images carry you for four years.

Foundry technology is demanding to photograph because it consists of extremes: matt cast iron that swallows light, polished aluminium that reflects everything, plus moulding sand, crucibles and plant several metres high. Under the mixed lighting of the Düsseldorf halls this quickly turns into a grey, illegible block. We work with our own light to bring out edges and textures, with a wide angle from a raised position for complete lines, and with a polarising filter for metal surfaces.
For exhibitors showing castings or sample parts we set up a small product station on the stand: neutral background, directed light, the same perspective for every series. That way the images match later in catalogue and data sheet.
GIFA shares grounds and week with METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST. Your customers walk through several halls during these five days; if you exhibit at two of the shows, we cover both stands on the same day without surcharge. Alongside the exhibition runs the Technical Forum — if your head of development speaks there, we photograph talk and audience and, on request, film it in full with audio from the mixing desk.
A large share of exhibitors and visitors travel in from abroad. Interviews with customers from India, Turkey or the USA are conducted in English and delivered with subtitles so your sales team can use them worldwide.
Monday and Tuesday are in our experience the strongest days for technical conversations; for clean plant and stand shots we use the hour before opening. If you want to split the week, book a full day on Monday or Tuesday and add two to four hours on Thursday for team and interviews. Friday is quieter and suits detail shots when machines may run once more without an audience.
Because the next GIFA is not until 2031, the material from this week is your proof of presence for four years. Plan the session accordingly: stand overviews, plant, product ranges, team and customer voices in a single booking.
Moulding lines, melting furnaces and casting cells with wide angle from a raised position and our own light.
Product station on the stand — neutral background, the same perspective for every series, catalogue-ready.
Running lines, pours and robot cells on video, as a 30-second highlight and vertical clip.
Architecture and lighting before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Statements from management and international customers in German or English, with subtitles.
Speaker and audience from several positions, the talk filmed in full on request.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.
