At NEWCAST foundries exhibit their products: castings in iron, steel, aluminium and magnesium, from engine blocks to delicate investment castings. Visitors are design engineers and buyers looking for a supplier. We photograph your parts so surface, wall thickness and precision can be read — and show the people behind them.

Photographically a casting is the opposite of a high-gloss product: matt, often dark surface, fine textures from the moulding material, machined faces next to raw ones. Under hall lighting it becomes a grey lump without depth. We set up a small product station on the stand — neutral background, raking light that brings out cast texture and edges, and for machined faces a second light with a polarising filter so the difference between raw and milled becomes visible.
Consistency matters: if you show twelve parts, you get twelve shots from the same perspective and in the same light. That way the images work side by side in the catalogue, in a grid on the website and in the quotation folder for the buyer who met you on the stand.
NEWCAST visitors are looking for a supplier, not a single part. So alongside the exhibits we photograph what builds trust: your team in conversation with design engineers, material samples and certificates, sample parts with machining marks, the stand as a whole. Short interviews with a radio mic — managing director or head of sales, two sentences on manufacturing depth — are delivered with subtitles, in English too.
If you present in the NEWCAST Forum or are nominated for the award, you get stage and audience from several positions; award ceremonies are filmed in full on request.
Many NEWCAST exhibitors have customers who are in Düsseldorf because of GIFA. Monday and Tuesday are therefore the densest days; we reserve the hour before opening for product and stand shots without visitors. A four-hour package on Monday or Tuesday covers product range, stand overview and first conversations. If you also want interviews and team portraits, book a full day or add two hours on Thursday.
Because the next NEWCAST is not until 2031, the material should last four years: every part you intend to offer in that time belongs in this session.
Product station on the stand with raking light — cast texture, edges and machined faces visible, every series from the same perspective.
Delicate parts and sectioned samples close up, wall thicknesses and surfaces legible.
Material samples, certificates and your team in conversation with design engineers — the supplier behind the part.
Architecture and lighting before the doors open, with no visitors in frame.
Statements from management and sales on manufacturing depth, in German or English, with subtitles.
Stage and audience from several positions, the ceremony filmed in full on request.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.
