LASER World of PHOTONICS is the world's leading trade fair for components, systems and applications of photonics: in 2025 it drew around 1,400 exhibitors from 41 countries and 44,000 visitors. It runs every two years alongside automatica and World of Quantum, accompanied by the World of Photonics Congress at the ICM. On show is what light does — laser sources, optics, sensors, machine vision, materials processing — and most of it is small, reflective or invisible. We photograph so engineers can read the optic and the beam stays in the picture where it belongs.

An asphere, a beam splitter, a filter with a dielectric coating: LASER exhibits are crystal clear, high-gloss and a few centimetres in size. Under hall lighting what remains is a reflex. We photograph optics with our own light on a black or neutral background, with raking light that draws the edge and an angle at which the coating shows its colour. Whole product families are shot in the same setup so catalogue and web shop match.
Laser sources and processing heads are boxes with connectors; their quality shows in the result. We photograph cut edges, weld seams, engravings and micro-holes in macro with a scale and add the device itself with legible type plate and control panel. Sensors, cameras and spectrometers get side light for housing edges and displays without banding.
Many stands show applications in darkened booths: beam paths in fog, materials processing behind protective glass, projections, fluorescence. There we work without additional light, with fast lenses and high sensitivity, so the effect your engineers built stays intact, and film demonstrations as short clips from a tripod — we wear laser safety goggles as a matter of course and coordinate every shot with your laser safety officer.
If your scientists present at the World of Photonics Congress, we photograph from the auditorium with a long lens and no flash. We conduct interviews with engineers and customers in English or German with radio mic and subtitles in both languages — visitors come from research and industry worldwide.
Tuesday to Thursday are the strongest days; Friday is quieter and suits optics shots with our own light, which take time. We recommend a four-hour package on Tuesday or Wednesday: the hour before opening for stand architecture and product ranges, then demos, conversations and interviews.
LASER World of PHOTONICS is held only every two years. The material from June 2027 carries you to the next edition in 2029; in our experience the Tuesday and Wednesday windows go early.
Lenses, filters and beam splitters in raking light on a neutral background — edge and coating visible.
Cut edges, weld seams and micro-holes with a scale, plus the device with legible type plate.
Beam paths, fluorescence and projection without extra light — the effect stays as your engineers built it.
Stand architecture and product ranges before opening, with no visitors in frame.
Short sequences from a tripod inside the booth or behind protective glass, plus the 30-second highlight.
Engineers, scientists and customers with radio mic, subtitles in German and English.

Yes. We work with fast lenses and high sensitivity so the effect stays as it was set up. We coordinate laser safety and shooting positions with your laser safety officer beforehand.
Yes. We bring a macro rig with our own light and a neutral background and photograph a product family in the same setup. About 20 minutes per family is enough.
Tuesday or Wednesday: the most technical conversations, plus the hour before opening for stand shots. Friday is quieter and suits optics shots with our own light and interviews.
Yes. Interviews, briefing and the entire engagement run in English — a large share of our trade fair clients come from outside Germany. Invoices with VAT ID for EU companies, no German VAT for companies outside the EU.
Send us your hall, stand number and the components or applications you want to feature. We will propose a time window and a fixed-price quote.
