Messe Essen lies in Rüttenscheid in the south of the city, next to the Grugapark and the Grugahalle. The U11 stops Messe Ost/Gruga and Messe West-Süd/Gruga are at the gates, the A52 exit Essen-Rüttenscheid leads to the car parks, and Düsseldorf Airport is a short drive or train ride away.
The grounds were modernised in stages up to 2020: single-storey halls numbered 1 to 8 around the wide glass Galeria, plus the Congress Center Essen. The Galeria gives daylight for portraits and interviews; inside the halls the light is artificial and even. Everything is on one level.
Security Essen in September, SPIEL Essen in October and Essen Motor Show from late November open the season, then Baumesse Essen and IPM ESSEN in January, E-world energy & water in February, Reise + Camping and Fahrrad Essen at the end of February.
EQUITANA follows in March 2027, European Bridal Week in April 2027 and TANKSTELLE & MITTELSTAND in June 2027.
We walk over before the doors open and photograph the empty stand first, then the team, then visitors as the hall fills. For multi-day shows such as SPIEL or IPM we agree a plan per day and can return for a short block on a later day at no travel cost.
Interviews are staged on your stand or in the Galeria, with lavalier microphone and our own light. You may photograph and film your own stand; for other stands and recognisable visitors we ask for consent where required. Delivery within 24 hours after the show day; our editing team starts while you are still on the stand.

For Security Essen, SPIEL and E-world, three to four weeks ahead is sensible. Otherwise a few days are enough, and during a show a same-day slot is often possible.
No. As exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand; our crew enters on your exhibitor passes or a media pass we arrange. For other stands and recognisable visitors we ask for consent where required.
