Black glass under a thousand ceiling lights

A PV module is a dark, high-gloss glass surface — under the hall lighting of Messe München it mirrors the ceiling grid, the neighbouring stands and the photographer. We work with polarising filters and find the angle at which the cell structure becomes visible and the reflection disappears; for module walls we set our own light broadly from the side so frame, cell spacing and backsheet are legible. With glass-glass and coloured facade modules we show the surface as material, not as a black plane.

Inverters, optimisers and junction boxes are the opposite: light or grey housings with displays, cooling fins and connectors. We photograph them with our own light and a neutral background, whole product ranges in the same setup, plus displays without banding — images that belong together in data sheet, online shop and installer training.

Outdoor area, trackers and three languages per aisle

Mounting systems and trackers stand outdoors between the halls, in June sun with hard contrast. We photograph them in the morning before opening, when the light is flatter, and film trackers in motion as short clips from a tripod — the tracking in time-lapse explains the system better than any graphic. For roof systems we produce detail shots of clamp, rail and hook that your sales team uses in installation guides.

Intersolar is international: exhibitors from 52 countries, many of them from China, visitors from 163 countries. We conduct interviews with your product manager or an installer in English or German, with radio mic and subtitles in both languages. For your colleagues abroad we deliver the 30-second highlight without speech, with text only.

Three days, every year — when to book us

Tuesday and Wednesday are the fullest days with the longest conversations; Thursday is quieter and suits shots without onlookers and team portraits. We recommend a four-hour package on Tuesday or Wednesday: the hour before opening for module wall, outdoor area and stand architecture, then conversations, demonstrations and interviews.

Intersolar is held every year, but the hall is full and time is short: we take on no more than four exhibitors per show day so every stand gets the calm that polariser and lighting need. In our experience the Tuesday slots go first.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a photographer at Intersolar Europe 2027 cost?

From €990 plus VAT for two hours of photo and video on site with at least 30 edited images and a 30-second highlight video. Four hours from €1,490, a full show day from €1,990. Travel to Munich and any overnight stay are stated separately and transparently.

Our modules mirror the hall lighting — can you get rid of that?

Yes. We work with a polarising filter, our own side light and a camera angle in which the ceiling grid does not sit in the glass. The cell structure and frame become visible, the reflection largely disappears.

We have trackers outdoors — can you show them in motion?

Yes. We film the tracking from a tripod and deliver it as a short clip or time-lapse, plus detail shots of drive and joint. Best in the morning before opening, when the light is flat.

Which of the three show days is best?

Tuesday or Wednesday: the fullest aisles and longest conversations, plus the hour before opening for clean stand shots. Thursday is quieter and good for team portraits and interviews.

Do you work in English?

Yes. Interviews, briefing and the entire engagement run in English — a large share of our trade fair clients come from outside Germany. Invoices with VAT ID for EU companies, no German VAT for companies outside the EU.
