At most shows the footage travels to a hotel with the crew in the evening. In Essen there are 30 seconds between the hall and the editing desk. That changes the whole day: we film stand shots, conversations and visitors in the morning, take the memory cards to the office at midday, and our editors work on the recap while we record interviews in the afternoon. Depending on package and schedule, the first clip is ready before the halls close.
Being next door also helps with everything that cannot be planned. When a key customer, a partner or the press comes to your stand, we can be there quickly if we have capacity. On later show days we come back for another block, with no travel costs.
Messe Essen lies in Rüttenscheid, next to the Grugapark and the Grugahalle, with the U-Bahn stops Messe Ost/Gruga and Messe West-Süd/Gruga at the gates. Halls 1 to 8 are single-storey and arranged around the glass Galeria, plus the Congress Center Essen. For video that means short walks with tripod, lights and gimbal, no levels and no lifts.
The Galeria has daylight for interviews and quieter corners than the halls, where the light is artificial and even. Talks and press conferences in the Congress Center are recorded with several cameras and sound from the mixing desk, and we are back on your stand within minutes.
SPIEL Essen in October is a public show for board games, and full aisles are exactly the picture you want. Overhead shots of the game table work well, hands, cards and reactions, plus short vertical explainer clips the community shares. At Essen Motor Show from late November, sound is part of the film: engines are recorded with a separate microphone, interviews still with lavaliers.
In January IPM ESSEN shows plants and horticulture. Plants look different on the last show day than on the first, so we film them early, and colour accuracy matters more than speed. At E-world energy & water in February, interviews and talks carry the film, because the energy business is mostly conversation.
Reise + Camping and Fahrrad Essen follow at the end of February, EQUITANA in March 2027 with demonstrations in the arena, European Bridal Week in April 2027, where white on white needs its own light, and TANKSTELLE & MITTELSTAND in June 2027. Security Essen in September brings security technology, where we agree confidential details with you in advance.
