Leipziger Messe lies in the north of the city. The grounds include five exhibition halls, the multifunctional HALLE:EINS, the Glass Hall, the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL) and around 70,000 square metres of outdoor space with the Messesee lake. The Glass Hall is the venue's landmark and also the West entrance hall. Glass tubes connect it to the exhibition halls and the CCL; the East entrance is linked to the Glass Hall and the halls through these tubes as well.
Access is clearly organised: Halls 4 and 5 are reached through the East entrance hall, Hall 3 through the Glass Hall, Hall 2 through the Glass Hall or the CCL. Once you tell us your hall, we know which entrance gets us to your stand fastest.
For photo and video the Glass Hall is a gift: plenty of daylight and architecture that instantly reads as Leipzig in portraits and team photos. We like to use it for pictures of your team or for interviews with a calm background, when the house rules and operations allow. Inside the halls we work with our own light so colours and exhibits are right.
The CCL is integrated directly into the grounds and, according to the venue, connected to all other areas. It has 23 rooms and halls and is used on its own or together with the Glass Hall and the adjoining halls. If your show runs a conference or specialist programme in the CCL, we fix your talk or panel in the day plan and are back at your stand in time.
The tram runs to its final stop Messegelände, and the S-Bahn stops at Leipzig Messe station. From Leipzig/Halle Airport the venue gives eight minutes on the S5 line. By car you reach the grounds via the A14 motorway and the B2; the venue lists around 12,500 visitor parking spaces.
For exhibitors from abroad that makes arrival simple: airport, S-Bahn, exhibition centre. We meet you at the stand before opening. Our kit is compact; two camera bodies, lenses, a gimbal, lavalier microphones and LED lights fit into rolling cases, so no delivery is needed. Our crew enters on exhibitor passes you assign to us.
Travel from Essen is quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week. Companies from outside the EU are invoiced without German VAT, EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice. The edited photos are ready before your flight home.
The house rules of Leipziger Messe are clear: photos, videos, sound recordings, sketches or drawings, in particular of stands or exhibits, are prohibited without the prior permission of the entitled party. Depending on the subject, that is Leipziger Messe or the exhibitor and stand operator. For your own stand, you give that permission when you commission us.
The house rules also prohibit the use of drones and model aircraft on the grounds. For overviews of your stand we therefore work with raised camera positions on your stand area. We do not record other stands or exhibits, and we keep the aisles clear.
The terms of participation of your show also apply and may contain their own rules on photo and film. We go through them with you before the show. We ask recognisable visitors before they become the subject of an image, and for shots in the Glass Hall or the CCL we check beforehand that the location is free.
November 2026 brings denkmal, the fair for monument preservation, restoration and the renovation of old buildings, together with MUTEC for museum and exhibition technology. Craft and material count here: surfaces, tools, before and after. We photograph details with our own light and record demonstrations as short clips.
March 2027 brings Intec for machine tools and manufacturing technology, and the Leipzig Book Fair. At Intec machines in operation are the focus; at the Book Fair it is readings, author talks and conversations on publishers' stands. For stages and readings we record with one or several cameras and cut short versions for social media.
The Leipzig Book Fair is also open to the public, and on busy days the aisles are full. We then photograph signings and conversations from the edge of your stand, keep the aisles clear and use the calmer morning hours for shots of new titles and stand design.
A typical day looks like this: before visitors are let in, stand overview, team photo and product details; from late morning, demos, conversations and stage slots; in a quieter phase, interviews with lavalier microphones. In the evening the first selection goes to you, the rest follows within 24 hours.
Because denkmal and MUTEC run in the same week, exhibitors of both shows can share the travel cost. The same applies to several exhibitors of one show. Ask early and we plan the Leipzig week together.
