A publisher stand at the book fair is a wall of covers — glossy laminated, full of reflections under hall light. We photograph shelves and display tables with a polariser and a slightly angled viewpoint so titles stay legible and colours are right. New releases you want to foreground we shoot individually on a neutral background — material for the trade preview and online shop.
More important than the shelf is the person in front of it: authors in conversation, signings with a queue, illustrators drawing on the stand, your editors with booksellers. We shoot wide open and without flash so the situation stays real and nobody is dazzled.
Readings on your stand stage or in the forums we photograph from two positions — author and audience — and film in full on request with audio from the mixing desk or our own radio mic. The result is a recording for your archive and short vertical quote clips that go online the same evening. For signings we deliver a series of encounters: author, reader, dedication — images readers share and the press prints.
Exhibitors at Manga-Comic-Con get cosplay and artists on the stand included in the set — with the consent of those photographed and without flash against the costumes.
Thursday and Friday are the days of professional visitors: booksellers, librarians, journalists, rights business. The aisles are full but passable — the right time for stand shots in the hour before opening and for conversations and interviews in the morning. Saturday and Sunday belong to the public: signings with long queues, cosplay, families. If you want to show reach and atmosphere, book the weekend; if you need the stand and new releases clean, book Thursday.

Yes, with the consent of those photographed. At signings and with cosplay we ask briefly; in overview shots of the crowd individuals are not in focus. On request we document consents.
Yes. We take audio from the mixing desk or via our own radio mic and film from two positions. You receive the recording and short vertical quote clips.
Thursday for stand, new releases and trade conversations, the weekend for signings, cosplay and full aisles. Many publishers book Thursday before opening plus Saturday morning.
Yes. Interviews, briefing and the entire engagement run in English — a large share of our trade fair clients come from outside Germany. Invoices with VAT ID for EU companies, no German VAT for companies outside the EU.
