Pixer is based in Essen in the Ruhr area, roughly 220 kilometres from Brussels. We travel from Essen or Düsseldorf by car, which keeps the full kit with us and reaches the Heysel plateau in about two and a half hours. We arrive the evening before your first shooting day and are on the stand before the doors open.
Travel and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors who book the same show week: three companies at Batibouw each carry a third of the journey. Over a two- or three-day booking that share becomes a small part of the total, because the packages stay at the same fixed euro prices as in Düsseldorf or Cologne, €990, €1,490 and €1,990 plus VAT. Belgian and other EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice; companies from outside the EU pay no German VAT either. Briefing, direction and delivery run in English.
Brussels Expo is the largest exhibition site in Belgium: twelve halls on the Heysel plateau in the north of the city, next to the Atomium. Palais 5, the art-deco hall from 1935, is the landmark of the grounds; the later halls line up behind it along a central boulevard. Metro line 6 stops at Heysel in front of the entrance and Brussels Airport is twenty minutes away by car.
The Brussels Motor Show fills the halls in January, Batibouw, the Belgian construction and renovation fair, follows in February or March, BRAFA brings the art and antiques trade to the Heysel in January, and Art Brussels runs in April. Congresses often prefer Square Brussels Convention Centre on the Mont des Arts; we cover those with the same crew and the same 24-hour delivery.
The first morning belongs to the stand itself: we are in the hall before opening and photograph architecture, signage, lighting, product displays and detail while everything is still clean. Once visitors arrive, the attention shifts to your team in real conversations, live demonstrations and the flow in the aisles. Nobody is asked to pose, and no meeting is paused for a picture.
On a second or third day we add on-stand interviews with your management, Belgian distributors or customers, product close-ups in quieter hours and the evening reception if you host one. A short recap can go out while the show is running; the finished films follow within 24 hours after the show day ends, cut by our remote editing team while you are still on the Heysel.
