Lyon is about 800 kilometres from our office in Essen, so we fly. Düsseldorf Airport is ten minutes from the office, Lyon-Saint Exupéry roughly an hour and a half in the air, and from there Eurexpo in Chassieu is a fifteen-minute taxi ride. We arrive the evening before the first shooting day and are on the stand before the doors open.
Travel and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared between the exhibitors we serve in the same show week. Global Industrie and Pollutec draw machinery and environmental-technology companies from Germany, Italy, Turkey and China; three of them each carry a third of the journey. Over a two- or three-day booking that share becomes a small part of the total, while the packages stay at the fixed euro prices we charge in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt, €990, €1,490 and €1,990 plus VAT. French and other EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice; companies from outside the EU pay no German VAT either. On the stand we work in English.
Eurexpo Lyon is the second-largest exhibition centre in France after Paris, a run of connected halls in Chassieu to the east of the city, between the Lyon ring road and Saint Exupéry airport. Tram line T5 runs from Grange Blanche to the Eurexpo stop on event days. We also cover congresses at the Lyon Convention Centre at the Cité Internationale.
SIRHA Lyon in January of odd years is the reference show for hotels, restaurants and food service, home of the Bocuse d'Or, and every stand is a stage of live cooking and tasting. Global Industrie, the French industrial technology show, comes to Lyon in odd years and alternates with Paris. Pollutec, the environmental and energy-technology fair, fills Eurexpo in the autumn of even years. Eurobois in February of even years covers woodworking and the Foire de Lyon in spring is the big public fair.
On the first morning we are in the hall before opening and photograph the stand while it is still clean: architecture, lighting, signage, product displays and detail. Once visitors arrive, the focus moves to your team in genuine conversations, live demonstrations and the aisle traffic in front of your stand. At SIRHA that means chefs at work and tastings at the counter; at Global Industrie it is machines running and engineers explaining them. Nobody is asked to pose and no negotiation is interrupted.
On a second or third day we add on-stand interviews with your management, French distributors or customers, product close-ups in the quieter hours and the evening event if you host one. Vertical clips can go out while the show is running; the finished films arrive within 24 hours after the show day ends, cut by our remote editing team while you are still at Eurexpo.

No. French and other EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice. Companies outside the EU, for instance in the UK or Switzerland, are invoiced without German VAT. All prices are in euro.
Flights from Düsseldorf and the hotel are quoted once per trip and split between the exhibitors we serve in the same week at Eurexpo Lyon. Over two or three days at SIRHA or Pollutec that single share stays a small item on the quote.
Six weeks ahead is sensible for SIRHA, when Lyon hotels fill up, and four to six weeks for Global Industrie or Pollutec. Short-notice requests work when we are already in Lyon that week.
Our working languages are English, German, Arabic and Persian. Briefing, direction and delivery run in English, as does our contact with venue staff at Eurexpo.
As an exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand. We stay within your stand and the aisle in front of it and register in advance where an organiser requires a supplier or press pass.
Selected material is uploaded during the day and our editing team in Germany cuts remotely while you are still on the stand. Photos and video arrive as a private download link within 24 hours after the show day ends.
