Basel sits directly on the German border. We travel from Essen or Düsseldorf by ICE along the Rhine to Basel Badischer Bahnhof, ten minutes on foot from the Messeplatz, or fly from Düsseldorf to EuroAirport in roughly an hour. Either way we arrive the evening before the first shooting day, cross the Swiss border with our own equipment and are on the stand before the doors open.
Travel and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared between the exhibitors we serve in the same show week: three companies at Swissbau, or two galleries and a brand partner during Art Basel week, split the same amount. Over a two- or three-day booking the travel share becomes a small part of the total, while the packages stay at the fixed euro prices we charge in Düsseldorf or Cologne, €990, €1,490 and €1,990. Switzerland is outside the EU, so Swiss companies are invoiced without German VAT; EU exhibitors with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice. On the stand we work in English.
Messe Basel is the largest exhibition centre in Switzerland, in Kleinbasel on the right bank of the Rhine, a few tram stops from Basel SBB station. Hall 1 by Herzog & de Meuron, opened in 2013, bridges the Messeplatz with its round opening to the sky and is the image most visitors carry away. Trams 1, 2, 6, 14 and 15 stop underneath it, and the Congress Center Basel is attached to the halls.
Swissbau, the Swiss construction and real-estate fair, fills the halls in January of even years and is where German, Austrian and Italian building-product manufacturers meet the Swiss market. Art Basel in June turns the whole city into an art week, with galleries, brand partners and hospitality companies producing content around the clock. Igeho, the fair for hospitality, hotels and catering, runs in November of odd years, and Fantasy Basel in May draws a young, international crowd.
On the first morning we are in the hall before opening and photograph the stand while it is still clean: architecture, lighting, signage, product displays and detail. As soon as the Messeplatz fills, the focus moves to your team in genuine conversations, live demonstrations and the aisle traffic in front of your stand. No handshake is staged and no meeting is paused.
On a second or third day we add on-stand interviews with your management, Swiss distributors or customers, product close-ups in the quieter hours and the evening event, whether a Swissbau reception or an Art Basel dinner. Vertical clips can go out while the show is running; the finished films arrive within 24 hours after the show day ends, cut by our remote editing team while you are still in Basel.
Architecture, signage and product detail before opening, then atmosphere all day.
Real conversations and demos instead of staged handshakes. No meeting is interrupted.
A 30- to 90-second film per show day for LinkedIn, Instagram and your website. Vertical versions included.
Management, distributors or customers on radio mics, subtitled in English, German, Arabic or Persian.
Gallery openings, brand events and receptions during Art Basel or Swissbau, same crew, same delivery.
Edited photos and the finished video via private download link within 24 hours after the show day ends.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.

As an exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand. We stay within your stand and the aisle in front of it and register in advance where an organiser requires a supplier or press pass. At Art Basel, photography rules inside the halls are strict, so we align the shot list with your gallery or brand team beforehand.
