Delivery time: when your show material is ready

Delivery time is the period between the end of a photo or video job and the handover of the finished, edited material to the client.

Definition

Delivery time sets when edited photos and finished videos reach the client. It is agreed in the quote and, depending on the provider and scope, can range from a few hours to several weeks. Often a first selection is distinguished from the complete delivery.

What matters is what the deadline refers to: the end of the show day, the end of the whole show or the client's approval. Revision rounds also extend the time until the final version. Read the wording in the quote carefully, because the same number can mean quite different things.

What it means for exhibitors

At trade fairs, delivery time decides the value of the material. While the show is on, customers, partners and competitors follow the posts under the show hashtag, and your contacts still remember the conversation on your stand (booth). Photos that arrive three weeks later no longer get that attention.

For exhibitors from abroad there is another point: head office often wants to see how the show is going while it is still running, and the team flies home before slowly delivered material arrives. So before booking, clarify when the first selection comes, when everything is finished and how it will be delivered. On your side, plan who reviews, approves and publishes the material, so fast delivery leads to fast publication.

In practice

At Pixer fast delivery is the core promise. You usually receive the first photos on the same day, so you can post while the show is on. The complete material, meaning all edited photos and the finished videos, is ready within 24 hours after the event ends.

That is possible because a remote editing team works in parallel with the shoot. After that, up to two revision rounds follow if you want them. The material comes via a download link, so you can pass it on even while travelling.
