The Doha Exhibition & Convention Center, DECC, stands in West Bay among the towers of the business district, a few minutes from the Corniche and the hotels that most exhibitors use. Its halls are column-free and sit under one roof with the conference rooms, and the venue has its own stop on the Doha Metro, the DECC station on the Red Line, which also serves Hamad International Airport in about twenty minutes. For congresses and very large conferences the city also uses the Qatar National Convention Centre out in Education City.
For a crew, DECC is one of the easiest venues in the region. Hotel, hall and evening receptions lie within walking distance or a short metro ride of each other, the halls are lit consistently, and the West Bay skyline and the Corniche give a recognisable backdrop for portraits and exterior shots in the first hour after sunrise or around sunset. Midday exteriors are avoided for most of the year for the same reason as everywhere in the Gulf: the light is harsh and the heat is hard on people and equipment.
Doha is about an hour's flight from Dubai and roughly six hours from Frankfurt or Munich. That is why a Doha show is usually planned as part of a wider Gulf trip: the crew flies in from Dubai or Riyadh the day before your first show day, and the long-haul flights from Germany are shared with the exhibitors of the other city.
Project Qatar is the construction and building materials show, with heavy exhibits, national pavilions and contractors from across the Gulf, Turkey and Europe. Exhibitors here want a clean architectural set of the stand, product and machinery detail and interviews with their regional partners. The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition in February is a different world: high-value pieces, controlled lighting, brand ambassadors and evening events, where the photography has to match the standard of the product and every stand has its own security rules on what may be shown.
AgriteQ, the agricultural show, brings growers, greenhouse and irrigation technology and food producers to the halls in spring. Around these shows, Doha hosts conferences, launches and hospitality evenings in the West Bay hotels, which the same crew covers on the same trip. The routine is the one we run at Dubai World Trade Centre and at the German fairs: on the stand before the doors open, empty architecture and products first, then team portraits, then visitors and conversations from the edge of the stand as the hall fills. Interviews are placed in a quiet slot with lavalier microphones and our own light, subtitled in English and Arabic. For jewellery and watch exhibitors we agree in advance which pieces may be photographed and how close, and we work with the stand's own security. Footage is uploaded at midday and after closing, and the editing team in Germany, one to two hours behind Doha, cuts while your team is at dinner.
Qatari companies pay no German VAT. Pixer GmbH invoices in euro, 50 percent on booking and 50 percent on the show day, by bank transfer; for the invoice we need your company name, address and commercial registration number. The packages are fixed at €990, €1,490 and €1,990; flights and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared between the exhibitors we cover in that week, in Doha and in the other Gulf city of the same trip. Delivery: edited photos and finished video within 24 hours after the show day ends, first photos the same evening.

No. Companies registered in Qatar, or anywhere outside the EU, are invoiced without German VAT. We need your company name, address and commercial registration number; payment is by bank transfer in euro, 50 percent on booking and 50 percent on the show day.
The shooter uploads footage at midday and after the hall closes. The editing team in Germany, one to two hours behind Doha, cuts in the Pixer template during their own working day. First photos arrive the same evening, the finished set by the next morning at the latest.
