Official service partners are companies that provide services for exhibitors on behalf of, or recommended by, the organiser or venue, such as electrical installation, stand construction, catering, cleaning or logistics.
Venue companies work with fixed partners that exhibitors can book through the exhibitor portal or the fair's service shop. Typical services are power and water connections, rigging, stand construction and furniture hire, catering, cleaning, security, forwarding and internet. There are two cases. Some services may only be provided at the venue by certain contracted partners. This often applies to the connections up to the stand. For other services the official partner is simply an offer, and you can also hire your own service providers.
Check in the exhibitor manual which services are exclusive and where you can choose freely. Exclusive services come with order deadlines, and after they pass things often get more expensive or difficult. For services you can choose freely, it pays to compare: your own stand builder or caterer may know your company better.
External service providers need access to the venue. Depending on the fair they receive an exhibitor pass, a service provider pass or a build-up pass, which you as the exhibitor usually order. Plan these passes in from the start. If in doubt, a short question to the fair's exhibitor service helps.
For photos and videos on your own stand (booth), you can usually choose freely whom you hire. What matters is that your crew knows the fair's rules on passes, equipment and filming outside the stand.
At the fair we work as an external service provider on your behalf. After booking we give you the names of our team, usually two or three people, so that you can order the passes in the portal. On the show day we coordinate with your stand staff and work so that stand builders, catering and cleaning are not held up. We speak English, German, Arabic and Persian, which makes coordination with international stand teams easier.

For shooting on your own stand, usually yes. Your photographer needs a suitable pass, usually an exhibitor pass that you order through the exhibitor portal.
